Sharing Personal Books

Hi Forum,

Does anyone know a way to share a "Personal Book" that one has created with another Logos user? In this case, I have a word document that my pastor uses daily that I have enhanced for Logos and that he would like to have in his now. The "export" feature doesn't seem to do it, as that is just printing or exporting as a PDF.

There isn't a mechanism within Logos to share Personal Books with other users

In this case, I have a word document that my pastor uses daily that I have enhanced for Logos and that he would like to have in his now.

If you give him your enhanced document he could create his own copy of the Personal Book in his Logos installation

This is the way to share PBs: we don't share the compiled books, but the PB sources. There's a whole forum full of those and a wiki page for ease of access.

The downside to this is that even coming from the same source, the compiled PBs of two users are different resources, which means you can't easily share links to them (and links within the PB need to be made in Word, not with PB-syntax). Other than that, if the pastor builds the PB with the same selections from the PB-Tool, it will look and behave just the same.
