2 Copies of same book.....Move notes and highlights?

I have two copies of the same book, Spiritual Disciplines of the Christian Life. One is a permanent license, and the other is temporary through school. I've lots of notes and highlights in the one from school, but when I opened the permanent license one, they were not there.

Is there a way to move/copy the highlights between the two?

I don't think its possible to have two copies of the really same book (in the sense of same product ID). Is there a chance you opened it once with Visual Filters turned on and once with them turned off?

In the store I see one 'real' book, https://www.logos.com/product/233054/spiritual-disciplines-for-the-christian-life plus an audio book and a study guide - is this the one? Maybe there was a no longer available edition of it (maybe an eBook).

Is there a way to move/copy the highlights between the two?

Not really, only manually. If you are owner of an eBook that got upgraded to a Logos edition, you should receive a permanent license for this - for free. In those case Logos will have two copies, exactly for the reason that removing the eBook would destroy your highlights and notes. Maybe you can share the support information for both of the books.

It is apparently possible. It's two copies of the same book (not an older publication). Here are some screenshots.

The one on the right is the temporary license.

So, is it possible to directly purchase a book that you have with a temporary license? I'll return the one with the permanent and buy the one with the temporary, if possible.

Jonathan, I can confirm that you own two different versions of this book, regarded by our system as if they are two separate books. You would not have been able to purchase them both if they were actually the exact same version. The version you previously purchased is no longer available for sale. To the best of my knowledge, neither version can be considered as better than the other one.

This is obviously a mistake on our part, and I am following this up with our team. I think it would make sense for you to return the version your purchased more recently.
