N.T. Wright on pg. 250 of "Jesus and the Victory of God" cites Josephus Life 110, a Jewish rebel is told to repent and believe in Josephus. What is this book by Josephus.
I think you have Josephus; Life was one of his books. My underline:
"110 Now I called Iesous aside privately and told him that I was fully aware of the plot that had been hatched against me, and of those by whom he had been sent. Nevertheless, I would grant pardon for what had been done if he would change his thinking534 and become loyal to me"
For anyone else that deals in Josephus periodically, the set:
Flavius Josephus Collection (5 vols.)
is excellent (if a bit pricey). Very detailed discussion, and the notes largely discuss translating the greek. In the quote above, #534 footnote is discussing the greek 'repent'.
