Running Windows 7 and L4.B8 will not allow other apps to gain the focus. I can hover over the icon on the taskbar and the other app will appear, but L4 will not allow it to have the screen. I have to minimize L4.B8 to use the other app.
I'm not able to reproduce this problem in Windows 7. Did the problem begin after the Beta 8 update? Did any other updates happen around the same time--any other changes to your system? Is this on a desktop or laptop?
Sorry, my info in my post is for a laptop, but this is happening on my desktop.
It has happened in past but seemed to have straightened out in the last few Betas. It is happening again with Beta 8. The only windows updates I see recently are for virus and firewall in windows.
It stays in the forefront even if I restore down. I actually have to minimize L$ to allow my other programs to have the screen.

I have had something similar once or twice, and I think it's an OS problem (not a Logos problem), but it could be related to .NET. In my recollection it seems to have happened in conjunction with running L3, which I had set up to turn off Aero. Closing L3 didn't restore Aero, or didn't do it completely leaving the OS display somewhat unstable. I could minimize L4 and use other programs.
But I could be wrong about the L3 connection with Aero. Either way, rebooting the machine fixed the problem.
Do you continue to have this problem after rebooting?
If so, have you tried cleaning out your temp files (I use a freeware program called CCleaner for that).
Richard,
Thanks. I rebooted and the problem seems to be solved. Should have thought of that right off.
