It would be very helpful to be able to send hyperlinks to the Text Comparison tool, as one can with a normal Bible resource. I know one can set TC to follow a Bible, but in some instances all I want open is TC.
The text comparison compares different bibles so why would you want to send hyperlinks here to compare your hyperlinks? Wouldn't notes which already allow hyperlinks be better?
If you look in your settings for any Bible (under the three dots), you'll see an option titled "send hyperlinks here." What that does is tell the program to send any hyperlinked scripture reference to that bible regardless of your other preferences. That is the option I would like to see in TC because sometimes I want to see a passage looked up in a particular collection of Bibles displayed in TC.
The other (less common) issue is, if you use multiple TCs.
I do, so that I can quickly see english translations, greek NTs, greek LXXs, and hebrew OTs. Not all mixed up together.
But a right-click > TC is a spin-the-bottle issue (which TC?). And it CHANGES the comparison list to match the reference sent. The problem is similar to searches, but searches (like Bibles) have a send-here choice.
TC's are due for another round of refinement. They don't hold their individual font-sizes either (they share a font size, which is maddening between languages).
Indeed.
This issue arose for me today because I’m using TC as a work around to display English-Hebrew-Göttingen LXX during this time of exile and Göttingen multiple book display brokenness. As the prophets would say my Logos has become a broken vessel without (Göttingen) delight/use. TC to the (less functional) rescue.
