I'm looking to recommend an audio bible for those trying to replicate the experience of Paul's audience, who heard his letters read out loud, all at once.
In other words, the criteria would be
- Available in audio form
- Preferably free
- Translation that can be easily followed aurally
- but in spite of #3, doesn't lapse into paraphrase or distort Paul's teachings. (I recognize that this would be highly debatable as to whether this or that translation distorts. Don't go there.)
I have not been able to find any articles or resources evaluating translations from *that* particular angle. Is anyone aware of any such articles, in Logos or elsewhere?
