Crashing bug in android mobile app when opening certain books

When opening certain books in the android mobile app (for example, ACCS Introduction And Biographical Information), the app starts continually hanging. It freezes and no functionality works. The book can't be closed, the layout can't be changed, no functionality works, the app is basically frozen and unusable. It is very difficult to eventually put it back into a usable state, by 30 minutes of repeated restarts, retries, and random functionality attempts. Rebooting the android tablet has no effect.

I am using the latest 26.0.2 stable release.

Emory, I am unable to duplicate this behavior using this book in our Android app.

Please try the following, these instructions do not require you to actually open this book.

First, make sure you have an active internet connection to begin.
Open the Logos Bible app.
Find this resource in the Library list: ACCS Introduction And Biographical Information
Tap on the three vertical dots that appear to the right of the title.
Tap About this book.
If you see an option for “Remove”, make use of it to remove the book. You will then be free to use the option for “Download” if you wish this book to be available when you are offline.
If you now see an improvement, repeat this steps with other problematic titles.

If this does not fix this problem, please send us your logs:

Tap the Menu icon (this icon has three horizontal lines).
Tap Help.
Press “Report a Problem”. Mark the logs "Attention: Joe". Press “Send” to send your report.

And i also have 6 split panes open in my layout (ie, 12 books), so that might be muddying the waters a bit.

I did the Remove Book thing, but because this issue is so severe when it happens, i don't think i can risk trying this book again on my tablet, to troubleshoot it. Don't want to end up with an unusable install and have to re-download several GB of books. I just won't use this book again on the tablet.
