L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #257 Font size on sermon exported to MSWord
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: Printing from Sermon Builder - Logos Forums
What I do is to export it to Word as you do. And yes, the font is crazy big. Here is what I do:
1 - Highlight everything. (CMD+A) on a Mac. I assume CTRL+A on Windows).
2 - Then I go up to the font box, were you can type in a different font size. Don't use that UNLESS you want all the fonts to be exactly the same.
3 - Otherwise, look to the right of that box, with the big "A" with a small up arrow, and the small "A" with a down arrow.
4 - Use the small "A" to start reducing text. There reason to use this button is it will shrink text but not all to the same size. It will stay relative to each other. Try going down 2-3 sizes (clicks) and see what you think. You can always go up at the same time, provided everything is still highlighted. Mess with it until you find a size that works for you.
