Heading in Clippings document

Hi Forumites,

I’m a recent convert to Clippings tool. Been enjoying the benefits. I’ve been using it recently to collect background information from various commentaries on the book of Habakkuk. I’ve tried to put related clippings next to each other (Context in which it was written, Theological takeaways,…), but it would be helpful to have a Heading inserted between Clippings to indicate the subsections (Context, Theological takeaways,…) within the Clippings document. (Something like this is possible with the Passage list.) Is this possible and, if so, how to do it?

Having these headings would (i) make it be easier to figure out where to drag any new Clippings into the file, and (ii) make it easier to organize the Clippings document once all the clippings have been included.

You can take a small clipping, delete the text and alter the heading

I used a Personal Book "My Lexicon", so you can create one with a more generic title and a small amount of text.

Thank you, Dave, for the excellent workaround. I was able to follow your instructions and insert headings.

1. I have read on the Forum that Logos is phasing out Personal Books. I hope that is not the case.

2. Even better, I wish that Logos would include functionality like in Passage Lists, where we can insert headings.

That may be based on the fact that Faithlife have not fixed/enhanced the tool in a long time, and likely will not due to misuse of copyrighted texts

Yes. We also use PB's in the Prioritization list to create headings out of their titles.

Thank you, Dave. I did pick up PB for Prioritization from someone who posted a video of how to do that. So my Prioritized Resources are a bit more organized thanks to the headers created using PBs.
