Is the copy citation in this instance supposed to work or does it only work when copying text? if the former, there is a bug; if the latter, its name is misleading. to recreate test case:

  1. have hyperlink citation turned on
  2. open information panel for any book
  3. copy either book citation or article citation
  4. paste into Word ... no hyperlink

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

The help text (hover over the ? icon to the right of the setting) seems pretty clear that the "Copy Citations" setting is specific to copying the text selected in a book. The indenting of Hyperlink Copied Citations is meant to indicate that it's a setting that only applies in the context of the parent ("Copy Citations").

I can certainly see the value in what you are asking for, and it seems like a good candidate for posting on the feedback site.
