I know that numerous biblical passages support the idea that God knows all that the future holds, including the free choices of human beings. How can I find these passages?
One way is to look up all references to “Thus says the LORD of hosts” And lookup “declares the LORD”. Most of these are in Jeremiah. Predictions of near fulfillment and future fulfillment. Jeremiah is just full of these phrases. You will get exhausted researching these just in Jeremiah.

It may help you to read Robert Reymond, in his "A New Systematic Theology of the Christian Faith" in Logos.
His section on the "Eternal in His Being" (pg. 172) in the section " Infinite, Eternal, and Unchangeable in His Being" (p. 168).
Try either a factbook search or a topic guide search for "God’s Omniscience".
You can also try a book search of your library for "god NEAR omniscience".
If you browse the "BookStore" section of the factbook search you may find snippets of info to take you down a few rabbit holes...
Also, Books responding to "Open Theism", which is the stream of theology that does not believe that premise, should discuss this in detail.
You could also read God's Lesser Glory by Bruce Ware. It looks like this book is no longer a single purchase but a collection of his stuff.

mm.
Here are verses I had in a list.... I think there are more....
Isaiah 46:10 - "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.'"
Psalm 139:4 - "Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely."
Isaiah 42:9 - "See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you."
Daniel 2:28 - "There is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come."
Acts 15:18 - "That have been known for ages."
Matthew 24:36 - "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Proverbs 16:9 - "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps."
Isaiah 55:11 - "So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Okay, some of you are getting awfully close to supplying theological answers/opinions which we have recently received a reminder not to do. But no one has asked the obvious question. Does "future" have any meaning in the context of God? Aren't you limiting God to a time-space continuum? Is that appropriate?
Don‘t these questions spur us on to respond with our own theological opinions? One already has. Bob

Ideally, no. It should spur us to offer search criteria, tools, resources that help find the answer, help improve how the question is asked, view the question from another perspective etc. Yes, this thread did spur answer(s) from forum member(s) who struggle with the rules but the spirit should always be teach-them-to-fish rather than give-them-a-fish. And, yes, you can sometimes infer personal beliefs from the resources suggested but that is only a problem if someone offers only why-you're-wrong-sucker resources.

I am one of the bad ones, I guess. But going back to the original post, can someone provide a search that will bring up all the "biblical passages support the idea that God knows all that the future holds, including the free choices of human beings." as the original posted wanted? There is not much help in Lexham Survey of Theology on Foreknowledge: It is not so much as foreknowledge as in God knowing what we will do with our free will, but more in line with predestination.
btw, MJ, could you please send me my 2 posts that have been deleted? I liked it very much, especially the second one. I would like to store it for myself. Thanks.
The old school method would be to search for words like “foreknowledge”. Then you could also look up relevant topics in a resource such as “naves topical Bible” index.
does Logos have better ways to search? Maybe. I’m wanting to see how to do it t too 😀
does Logos have better ways to search?
One improvement is heading/largetext:(foreknowledge OR predestination) which looks for headings and largetext that may be headings.
Another one is headword:(foreknowledge OR predestination) as this works with different resources.
In the bible, one can try person:God BEFORE 2 WORDS sense:="to know (cognitive)" --> remove = for other "know" senses
Don't forget the Cross References guide and "The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge"
I don't think I can - I don't have messages sent to my email but instead use the forums directly.
where are all of these complex search commands documented?
Help file and wiki New Search HELP (logos.com)
Ok thanks. There is a lot of power there, but not very user-friendly syntax.
So you can search for tags in a text, as in an example on the help page says: In Mk 6:1 (ESV) “his hometown” is tagged for Nazareth
So embedded in the ESV text are a bunch of different tags on different words. But you cannot see them? Is there a way to look at what is tagged in the text?
Books responding to "Open Theism", which is the stream of theology that does not believe that premise, should discuss this in detail.

RE: MJ's comment about human "future" being within scope of God who exists beyond the bounds of sequence or matter...
search your library for "eternal now" and you may be busy for awhile.

Is there anyway to retrieve them? Some archives or something?

MJ: I found it in the email I automatically receive from the Forum. So all good here.
Just right-click a word and you will see its tags on the left hand side. You can select a Search from the other side.
.
Right-click "his" to see the tags for Person and Place. "hometown" is only tagged for Nazareth.
Being a pronoun, "his" is a referent for the Person and “his hometown” is a referent for Nazareth.
Hi, I know these aren’t scriptures but you question captured my attention and I hope you won’t mind me sharing this recent podcast!

God’s omniscience is probably not a bad place to start.
