Somehow or other, the word "for" has gotten highlighted every time in every resource.
It sounds like you may have a search panel open with for as the search term. If so, closing the search panel would remove the highlight.
Or, if that isn't the case, you might have a visual filter enabled searching for the same thing - details on Visual Filters are at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747431-Create-a-Visual-Filter
