I have no idea what is updating & downloading right now, but it is a lot because it is up to 9 GB at 73 percent, when it is finished I will come back & let everyone know, maybe they just did corrections on a bunch of resources.

It would be unusual for a large update to drop like this on a Saturday... Have you not used it / had it open for several days?
