Can anyone tell me how to search tags that are in my Bible? I do not understand tags but it appears I do. I keep getting yellow stars by Bible passages.
Yellow stars seem more like notes icons than tags.
Are you sure you are not talking about notes?

It is those little squares by "The Word Became Flesh"
Those indicate user-created notes.
How do I delete these?
How do you delete your notes? Are you sure your notes are worth so little you want to delete them or do you simply not want them displayed? If the latter, turn them off under the visual filters icon (3 balls).

That many usually come from a Workflow, so switch off the associated Notebook in Visual Filters
