Thanks for bringing back ctrl-k!
I just discovered late last night that ctrl-k was back for applying last visual markup. This wasn't mentioned in the Beta 4 release notes.

Now, I wish we could use either a CTR+K or some similar combo to toggle or "erase" an accidental highlight.

Mitch,
Like in L3, you can select what ever highlight you want to erase use Ctrl+Shft+K to erase it.There is a real need for an undo. For one, rehighlighting is a bit tedious, but more importantly, it's impossible to correct when you have accidentally put the current highlight on top of a previous highlight or highlights. (You have to erase everything and redo them all)

Furthermore, I think the undo should leave the selection selected so I can try a different markup style without having to reselect each time.

It actually already does. If you click erase (upper right in the Visual Markup tab) the selected markup style is erased but the selection is still selected.

You're correct. I was thinking of version 3.

Well that's a step up from V3!
