I just discovered late last night that ctrl-k was back for applying last visual markup. This wasn't mentioned in the Beta 4 release notes.
Now, I wish we could use either a CTR+K or some similar combo to toggle or "erase" an accidental highlight.
Mitch,Like in L3, you can select what ever highlight you want to erase use Ctrl+Shft+K to erase it.

There is a real need for an undo. For one, rehighlighting is a bit tedious, but more importantly, it's impossible to correct when you have accidentally put the current highlight on top of a previous highlight or highlights. (You have to erase everything and redo them all)
I second the Undo
Furthermore, I think the undo should leave the selection selected so I can try a different markup style without having to reselect each time.
