FACTBOOK DATA ERROR - possible hierarchy level error OR missing entry/broken pericope error

Is it intended for a group item to have a single element under it? Or is there a missing entry to cover the missing verse 11? ... In short, this is wrong but I'm not certain what is intended.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Outside of NRSV, every pericope set I've looked at ends the pericope at 1 Samuel 2:11.

However, the prayer of Hannah proper ends at 1 Samuel 2:10.

It seems odd to me create another entry for only verse 11.

It seems odd to me create another entry for only verse 11.

It seems even odder to me to simply omit it ... which would imply that even in a continuous reading, the verse was often omitted?? Okay, I'm joking. If there is not an entry for verse 11 then having the hierarchy is inconsistent. I know I have run into another place where Logos had a 1 verse pericope to handle this type of situation. But it appears that verse 11 is usually included in the prayer pericope but sometimes attached to the Eli's sons pericope.

It shouldn't I've run into two pericopes of only a single verse in the past 6 hours.

I know you've recently asked for documentation on the matter but hopefully this explanation will help.

The Table of Contents Browser in Factbook is pulled from a few data sources.

Biblical Divisions, which are puller primarily from the Context Commentary
Pericope Data, which is pulled from the Logos Pericope Set
Text Ranges, which are pulled from the "All the X" in the Bible

The Table of Contents leverages the Bible reference ranges associated with a label or heading from those data sets to create a hierarchal outline.

Because Logos Pericope sets cover the entire Bible, all verses are represented in the table of contents. However, because data from an "All the X" in the Bible might be narrower than a pericope AND not every verse in a pericope will be found in an "All the X" resource there will be areas where verses in a pericope range aren't represented at the lowest level of the the table of contents hierarchy.

This is the same explanation for the behavior you described in this post: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/217617.aspx
