I have tried finding a factbook article on the beliefs of the ancient Israelites but cannot find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Either you use the OT (presenting a sycretistic diety mix, both among most of the kings, and the accused Israelites, by the prophets), or archaeological writings that discuss the dissonances. But there's little actual data.
