I am not sure if that is what you would call it. Logos let's say you have a bible NKJV etc. and you mark it up which marks up pretty every other translation in your collection.
I was thinking it would be cool to open a bible with no marks etc. Logos could make overlays You could have as many as you wanted. One could be named church sermons you use to mark up the bible from sermons your pastor preaches. You could have another for personal study or name them by year.
This way if you wanted a fresh bible unmarked you could without losing anything God taught you. Maybe with each overlay, you could have a notebook assigned to it for notes.
