I'm keen to buy the following resource, although really I've spend too much this month, so would like to wait. The resource doesn't suggest it's on sale, but it's a steep discount. That could simply be because there's an updated edition. Does anyone have any insights? Perhaps someone has tracked the price or knows what they paid in the recent past.

Hi, Paul: I have no direct info on this volume, but..........
L may be setting up secret deals, unadvertised, just sitting there, a la:
Providence by John Piper was 12USD for 2 weeks. Now it is 23 bucks this last week. Before all this it was 30. [All prices, + the 2 weeks, are approximate.]
I figure they are training us to watch our Wish Lists closer.
EDIT: The low prices were/are not in red, nor were /are they entertained on any sale page.
I guess we should post these items on the forum, like U did.

That's interesting, although your reply cost me $14.99 😥
I do check my wishlist regularly in case there's anything not advertised, although because I divide them by priority I only check the top 2 daily and only view the others at the start of each month. Otherwise, I check the sale drop downs on the home page for ad hoc sales during the month. So looks like I do miss other stuff by not looking at all my wishlists.
Paul, thanks for the recommendation, and scooter for the f/u. Although, since I'm head over heels in support of women in The Way; I don't know what motivates me to read the book other than the utmost respect for Gordon Fee.

You're welcome, BA.
Having been a complementarian forced to review my theology or leave my church (when they appointed a female pastor) I found Michael Bird's short book useful in realising there is another Biblical (rather than emotional) perspective:

But without doubt the best book I've read on the "problematic" passages is:

From the publisher:
Andrew Bartlett draws on his theological learning and his skills as a judge and arbitrator to offer an even-handed assessment of the debate. His analysis is thorough but accessible. He engages with advocates of each view and all the key biblical texts, weighing the available evidence and offering fresh insights. He invites the reader to move beyond complementarian and egalitarian labels and seeks progress towards healing the division.

I'd tried to post to you last night, but the site would not let me.
Sorry I cost U some cash!!!!!!!
If we check more, we will see if L is doing what I suggest they may be. There is that how-much-checking should I do thing.

I like your idea of posting non-advertised special pricing. Might cost us more though!!
posting non-advertised special pricing
I am on a Mac; I don't know how to post a book page's live url in the forums. Could you possibly show me the steps?

I tend to use my Android tablet more than anything. The following 2 screenshots show how to copy a link. Select share from first screenshot and copy from the second.
Perhaps others can advise on a Mac specifically.
Sorry I cost U some cash!!!!!!!Best practice is to use your rep for all purchases.
How do you mean? Can they notify you of unadvertised sales? I try to keep my purchases to a limited monthly budget and generally only buy books which are on sale or in pre-pub. I doubt a rep would help there. But maybe I'm missing a trick.
My rep doesn't help on pre-pubs, but about half of the time, he is able to reduce the prices, even on sale items.[:D]
That’s real funny 😆😂🤣🥹🥲🤣😂 Considering most judges and arbitrators get it wrong! Skills…😂😂😂

Come on DAL ... not before I finish my first cup of coffee and when the last few days on the forums have been discouraging ... Your quote is misleading as Paul was quoting the publisher's blurb not speaking on his own behalf. You get awarded one shovel.

He's a British judge though. 😊

Thanks for catching my dry, dark sense of humor Paul…😂😂😂…that removed the lump on my head MJ’s shovel had left 😂😂😂

I know it wasn’t Paul, I read the publisher’s note and since Paul quoted it I decided to comment on it 😂😂😂 Thanks for the shovel 😂😂😂 I assume you intended to use it as a verb 😁

Looks like it was the normal price, as you can get an additional 25% off at present.
