My question to Logos is: Doesn't partial functionality merit a partial price? I paid for the Silver collection, and even though I use the web app, I should get the full functionality for the price because I am being charged the same price. Just like the software for desktops. I am paying full price for partial functionality. How is that just?

I think you are mistaken. You are paying primarily for the bundle of books you receive in the library. The software, which includes the desktop, web and mobile applications, is free. A small portion of Base Package prices may be for datasets and expanded functionality, but the creation and use of collections is part of the free functionality (some of the expanded functionality may work only on desktop, but my understanding is that Faithlife never promised otherwise. Historically, the web app is a free goody that was given to us users on top of the existing application and never had a price tag or product page.)

    O dear...

Logos provide a number of software solutions for accessing your resources.

A desktop version - most capable - free to all users

A web-site version - less capable but with some extras - free to all users.

A mobile app - essentially a reader with some search and note taking facilities. - free to all users

Logos also sells bundles of resources which can be used to some extent on any or all of the above. Which machine one chooses to use is a matter of personal choice.
