I have noticed that Logos groups packages by theology preferences. I notice Catholic in the list. Is that Roman Catholic or Catholic?

It includes Western rite, Eastern rite and Ordinariate.
I have no idea what you are referring to.
I'm no expert but there are different rites in the Catholic church:
(descriptions pulled from ChatGPT and hopefully fairly accurate!)
Thanks Graham. Maybe I'm OCD. As we know there are 2 definitions for Catholic loosely used in the public. I assume you are referring to RC and the Logos divisions. In this day and age definitions are more important than ever. I feel the same about the loosely held Term Church. [:(]
And I obviously didn't know what you were referring to. [:)] When I see "Roman" I automatically think Western Latin rites not the Catholic Church as a whole.
I suspect you were referring to Catholic vs. catholic in my terminology. Capital C referring to the Catholic Church for which I gave the answer and lower case c for all churches that consider themselves to be catholic in the sense used in the creed. Logos uses the category Catholic in the capital sense of the word. And Graham gave a great clarification ... my only quibble being I'd make rites plural as they are families of rites.
As we know there are 2 definitions for Catholic
We do? How do "we" know that?
Should I assume you simply mean
A) "Catholic" = "Roman Catholic" i.e. "The Pope in Rome"
"Catholic" = "Universal" ie. "The 'Church' in its entirety"
Is that what YOU mean? In Logos, it means something closer to "A," but does not mean "B." You will have to dig around and do research (including Church history) to learn more about it. MJ might provide a definition.
Thanks JT. That's more defined. Makes me sad.

Actually, I cheat. For purposes of my own research, I divide groups that call themselves Christian into 3 categories:
Which are in the universal church - church in its entirety - is up to God to know ... there are borderline groups in all of the above.
To add to the confusion, Eastern Rites Catholics also = "The Pope in Rome". These include Ruthenian, Melkite Greek, Syrian, Maronite, Armenian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Syro-Malankara, and Chaldean. All one big happy Catholic family. [:)]
Peace and all good,
