First of all, that's hilarious!
Second, the discussion about integrating AI into Logos seems akin to what this site is trying to accomplish. I don't think anyone really wants silicon to think for us (although for some, it would be an improvement. [;)] -- I'm just kidding, BTW), but if it could aid in research to enhance our efforts in ways that simple search syntax cannot, that would be great. Logos would have the huge advantage of providing the best results from books we already have so we can do a deep dive.
To answer the OP, I have not tried it, but your suggestion led me to learn about the resource.
The best is yet to come? Have A.I. put sermons together and then use speech activated computers to deliver the sermon and we don't need preachers anymore? (That's a joke man, that's a joke)!

Why is it OK for others to discuss Olive Tree, Accordance, Kindle, etc on other threads?
Surely you wouldn't suggest that "some" take liberties to discuss other products and to espouse their views about religious theories and such... and then those same ones would chastise us for doing the same? Naw.... surely that doesn't go on on Logos Forums.
I have been guilty of discussing biblical theories, religious theories and such... and sometime back, I was a proponent of WordSearch. I since have stopped my proponizing of WordSearch.... And I am trying to overcome my addiction of getting into biblical theories and such.... Of a truth, I really am trying... it's just that I love to discuss biblical issues, topics and doctrines.

I can't find the thread now but Bob's brother once posted a funny post trying to make the point that there is nothing wrong with mentioning other products but promoting them (e.g. providing links to paid services, or noting their sales price on things Logos sells) is a step too far. I suspect Dave believes that a link to a free trial of a paid services crosses the "no promotion" line. I agree with him but hadn't noticed because I hadn't tried the link.
So I suppose if I had said SermonAi instead of SermonAi.com and let you google the "link" yourself then it would have been OK?
Anyway, it amazes me how many on this forum have nothing to say about the question being asked, and yet have plenty to say about the post itself...

I really fail to understand why the concept of limiting the use of these forums to the use of Logos and the available Logos supplied resources is so difficult to grasp.

I routinely bring up Accordance, and Olivetree. In looking at missing features in Logos .... or missing ease of use, in Logos. That's the only way they can figure it out. Of course, since the forum is for forumites, it's a bit of circular reasoning.
I watched as much of the promo video as I could stand. I really don't understand what it does that the Logos Sermon Editor alongside a free Chat GPT account cannot do. The biggest danger I see is that, like all LLMs, this software is inevitably prone to confident fabrications. Google's Bard is probably a better option since it can cite sources.This week, I was listening to a podcast that said AI is currently a B- or a C+ at everything. If you are worse than that, AI can help you. Otherwise, do it yourself.
I also watched their promo video and browsed thru their claimed "features," and found a lot of similarities with Logos' features on both the Sermon Assistant side and the Sermon Editor side.
But their Sermon Assistant tools seem to have a simpler UI (just type in natural language and hit Go). It would be nice if Logos' UI can approach such simplicity especially when it comes to Search (the beta search is going in that direction).
My hesitations with a tool like this:
1) Despite their claims that it's not writing the sermon for you, just assisting in the sermon prep process, its video/demo seems to strongly hint that you can indeed ask it to write the sermon for you (or modify from an AI-generated "sermon" that's not properly cited/credited).
2) It doesn't seem to provide citations of the sources of the info it spits out, like many other AI tools.
3) Its website does not provide any info of who's behind this effort, where's the team located, the size of the team, etc. It's basically a mysterious, anonymous black box.
Have you tried out the experimental search on the Logos web app? You can do natural language searches but get the answers from your resources, not overblown autocomplete. It isn't perfect but it is cool.
Yes I have. That's what I referred to as the "beta search." It's in the right direction and hopefully will continue to be finetuned to be more intelligent as time goes on. Thanks Justin.

I agree, Kiyah. That's another red flag that makes me suspicious of the quality of that site/tool.
I also don't like that I have to give them my credit card info for the free trial considering they're such an unknown company. I don't see any reviews by other users on YouTube (they probably didn't want to give their credit card info either). So I'll pass until this company establishes more of a reputation and no longer requires my credit card info upfront.
