Change Text Comparison default Bible list

Now, it appears the Text Comparison always defaults to the list of prioritized Bibles. No matter what I select inside the tool, the next time I invoke it, it always goes back to the top prioritized Bibles. It would be nice to have the ability to change the default list to one of our choosing. Thank you.

That's strange - I've just tried it and when I closed / reopened the Tool it showed the last selected set of books, not my top Bibles.

What platform are you running Logos on, what version of the app are you using?

I laugh, that obnoxious Text Comparison. No offense to the OP. But TC has a lot of old bugs, from its update years back.

I keep 4 TC's in my layout (linked, that compare OL's). But katie-bar-the-door, don't open another ... all 4 instantly change Bibles, languages etc. It's crazy (granted, does what Graham describes. I have to re-load the layout.

How are you invoking the Text Comparison tool? If you are opening the tool by loading a layout or clicking a bookmark, then it is expected that the list of Bibles will be restored from when you created the layout or the bookmark.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm running Windows 10 Pro and Logos 28.0.34 released today 9/12/23. I can't make it do anything but always open to my top bibles. Oh, bother!

I usually open it from the right-click context menu. I just tried opening from a shortcut to the tool that I had placed on my shortcut bar. That worked correctly! So, mystery almost solved. Opening the TC tool from a context menu always defaults to the top bibles, but opening from the tools menu, or its shortcut, opens with the last selected bible list. Perhaps we can get this inconsistency resolved in a future update.
