Bible Study Notes

Due to my Cerebral Palsy, I don't really like to buy bibles. That is one of the reasons I have logos. When I shake I tend to rip pages which ticks me off. I have a question I have ESV, NIV, NKJV, etc... with Logos. If I buy the study notes for let's say ESV notes only does it turn Logos ESV into the $59 ESV Study Bible? Same thing with NIV I brought the Grace Bible study notes.

Basically, what I am asking is with study notes vs. study bible am I getting everything a study bible has compared to what logos notes only has? I do realize I need the bible also. NIV study notes are useless if I don't NIV digital bible etc to go with it.

I use Logos on my phone when in church just to read the passage my preacher or guest preacher is using. I do own some physical bibles but due to my shaking, I use them very little.

I didn't quite understand your question, but I will do my best.

When you purchase a "study bible" in logos, it comes with the notes only. You can use the associated bible if you so choose... but you don't have to do so. You can use any bible you would like with the "ESV Study Bible." the Bible text and notes will be in separate panes. I think you understand that it does not come with the Bible itself, which is a separate purchase. Did that answer your question?

Yes, when you purchase the notes you get everything that a study Bible has; e.g. charts, maps, etc. The only thing you don’t get is the text, but you can use any text you want. I have dozens of Study Bible notes both in Logos and Olive Tree, but I prefer Olive Tree for study Bibles as the graphics are light years ahead than Logos’s graphics. Even Accordance has superior graphics than Logos, which is a huge shame!

Thanks that answered my question because I saw ESV notes only and saw that it had the same number of stuff as the ESV study bible on Amazon. 20k notes 80k cross-reference etc. It was only $29.99
