Problems working with HALOT in L4

1) I try looking up the word חרוץ (gold). I first type h:hrwc in the textbox left to the cisual filters but nothing comes up. I type with Hebrew characters חרוץ no word is in found. I type חרו and see the word at the bottom of the list click on it and get to the definition. How can I use the lemma textbox to quickly reach what I am looking up? BTW I have the same problem as with h:  in LSJ with g:.

2) So now I reached חרוץ and it has a cross-reference to זהב I click on זהב and it brings me to מי זהב under מ instead. Is this an indexing problem?

In answer to your first query, the g: and h: input methods don't work in the reference box. It's worth creating a post in the suggestions forum to that effect, as I can see why you'd want them to. So the answer to your question is that you're already using the correct method - type in Hebrew, then select from the drop-down list.

In answer to your second query, it's not an indexing problem, but a typo in the resource. You should report it from the right-click menu. (As a workaround, you can of course jump straight to זָהָב by pasting זָהָב into the resource box).
