Dear Logos users
I am new to Logos and currently using it on my laptop. However, this is rather impractical and I would like a device that I only use for reading.
I am considering between Kindle, tolino, IPad and other options. I want it to be easy on the eyes, but I still don't want to sacrifice any of the features. If possible, I would also like to be able to work with a pen.
Do you have any recommendations or experiences? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each device from your point of view?

The only mobile devices that support Logos are Apple (iPad / iPhone) or those running an Android operating system. So Amazon Fire works, for example, but not the standard Kindle.

Whichever mobile device you go with the app won't have all of the features of the laptop you are currently using. Are there particular features you want to have available to you on this device?

I bought the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet with 128GB for exactly the same reasons and installed an additional 1TB SD card in it.
Even a Samsung tablet that cost almost three times as much was always stuck exactly at logos and when it came to displaying visual filters or extensive search filters, the box crashed for me. Not so with the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet. Logos runs very stable, smoothly and pleasantly. The pen function works flawlessly and all other applications, such as the Kindle app or Microsoft's Office, work smoothly and, above all, quickly. For just under 300€ in Germany for the tablet and about 100€ for the SD card, this really is an alternative to Ipad and co.
The reading friendliness of the absolutely quiet and sufficiently bright display should also not go unmentioned here.

Surface Pro (full Windows OS) is your only option. As Graham stated - ALL Logos mobile apps surrender some features of the desktop app.

FWIW, I just bought a new (Android) tablet to supplement my Logos use. Highlighting and Clipping are painful! If I select a text and assign a highlighter color is seems as if it has to sync with Logos servers online before the Highlight is attached. Then I have to wait again to select the text in order to clip to my clippings document. So frustrating yesterday that I turned off the tablet and decided to finish my study on my Surface.

Just for reading a resource, in my opinion, the ipad is the best choice.

If you want all the Logos features, the Surface Pro is a great choice. I have used it with great success.

I would add this advice. I agree with David that the Surface Pro, which runs full windows is the only Tablet that will allow all Logos features, including Personal Books, etc.

But you also asked for easy on the eyes. My iPad does not bother my eyes reading, and I am blind in one eye. However, the iPad is not as easy on the eyes as a Kindle or other e-ink device. And the Kindle will certainly read better if you read outside. But any such device will make major compromises on features. In other words, all you can do with them is basically read.

So, you must decide what your priorities are to make your choice. Cost is also a factor. Surface Pro is more expensive, and you would want it to have as much hard drive and computing power to do Logos well. They Surface Pros that I used were excellent.
