Mobile Ed: Logos Training Bundle

Hi All,

I've recently got back into Logos and really enjoying getting into "proper" Bible study again.

I'm thinking of purchasing the above course so I can fully get to grips with all the Logos tools, but I'm not sure whether the tutorials in the support area of the website would do the same job for free.

-I noticed that there are 3 tutorial series, going from basic to advanced Bible study, through to sermon prep in Logos.

What would this bundle of courses give me that the support tutorial videos wouldn't? (i.e. Would this be a worthwhile purchase?)

P.S. I'm also thinking I would have to purchase Preaching Suite Essentials as well because I don't currently have the Sermon Builder features in my Logos package, so please bear that in mind too.

First of all the Logos Mobile Education training bundle you reference is an excellent resource. I highly recommend it.

As for the Sermon Builder your post suggests you don't have a library at Gold or higher because the Sermon Builder comes with those. The Preaching Suite is for active preachers. If that's you then I highly recommend it but if not you may be get the full feature set instead.

I think the Preaching Suit offers the Sermon Builder and Silver or higher. Whether you’re a preacher or not, that’s irrelevant in my opinion, as you will get great tools and resources for your spiritual growth 👍😁👌

You're correct, in that I originally purchased Logos a long time ago, and there are a lot of features they've added in the past few years that I don't have in my feature set.

I would love to get the Silver feature set upgrade but I don't think I can justify the cost at the moment, which is why I thought I would start with the preaching suite. I preach reasonably regularly and also lead a small group, so that seems like a good fit for what I do, without breaking the bank.

That said, the main part of my question was really about the training bundle: it's good to know that you recommend it, but I would like to know what distinguishes those courses in the bundle from the free tutorial series readily available in the support section of the website.

What do you think?

The Expository Preaching Kits are currently on sale so now might be a good time to invest in those. Another option if you preach through the Bible book by book is to get the book you are currently studying.

Thanks again for the info, but my question isn’t really about packages or features, so much as the mobile ed course I mentioned in my first post and whether it’s much better than/different to the free tutorials also available on this website?
