For those of you who are frustrated that your layouts are not available in the Web App or that the layout you used last is not saved/remembered when you open the Web App again, here's a trick you can use on both your pc or your phone/tablet.

On your pc.  Open the latest version of Edge.  Launch the Web App. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the frame (...).  Click on Apps, then Install this site as an App.

Follow the prompts and create a desktop app or pin to the taskbar.  Now, set up the resources and layout as you please.  This layout will be saved the and appear the next time you open the App.

On your phone/tablet.  Open the Edge App and Launch the Web App. Click the 3 bars icon at the bottom right of the screen.  Select "Add to phone".  Follow the prompts and save and you will have a new app on your device.  Now create your layout and it will be saved automatically.  The next time you open the app your last layout will appear.

I have the full desktop app on my computer. I often use the online app because the desktop app takes so long to load.

If I install the web app as you describe, will it affect my desktop app?

The creation of the web app via the process I described has no impact on the desktop app you already have installed on your pc or tablet or phone.  The web app makes no changes to the desktop app.  I use them both on all my devices and pcs.  Now that said, both the desktop and the web app share the same resources and documents, so if you add or change a note (for example) in the web app it will be changed in the desktop app if you are signed in with the same login ID. And vice versa.
