Looking for book recommendations

I have a Faithlife Connect subscription that gives me 3 free books per month. (from this list Search Results Faithlife Ebooks ) I've pretty much exhausted what is of immediate interest to me from this list; so I'm interested in people's recommendations. Is there a book on this list that is a hidden gem?

Whenever I am too lazy to seek out books I really want, I go for a church history volume ... not that I'm keen on history of any type but one never knows when one might need a small detail ...

Fair enough. Here are three specific areas of current interest:

- cross-cultural communication

- ecclesiology

- the theology of everyday life

New compelling interests? - none really - but I'm always interested in a book that someone tells me challenged their thinking in some way.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for history. Reiterating my reply to DMB - is there an older "classic" that challenged you in and unexpected way? Maybe one of those small details you mentioned cause you dig deeper into something you had previously ignored or were unaware of?

They’re running out of good ebooks in their list. They should include ALL ebooks to make it worthwhile; except, of course, Logos’s tagged books.

Sometimes when you look at some of the bundles you will see some older volumes that might be included in your list. I picked up some on Whitefield, a series of classic books on The Kingdom (I picked them off 3 at a time), a series on classic christology, just finished getting some on The Works of Richard Sibbes. Some of these older volumes are really good and provides a balance to your library. I have been at this since Wordsearch came over to Logos and always find something that I am interested in. I sort by highest cost. Search on "Works of" or whatever else interests you and then filter on Faithlife Ebooks Classic. Remember to tag your books so that you can easily find them later.

They should include ALL ebooks to make it worthwhile; except, of course, Logos’s tagged books.

I may be incorrect but I think they have included all e-books on which they don't have to pay a publisher. The solution is for them to pick up more out-of-copyright texts.
