NRSVue Highlighting Issue

Hi Friends,

I use the NRSVue as my default Bible but have others open as well such as the NRSV, ESV, the KJV, and the NIV. I find that when I highlight a word or passage in the NRSVue, it does not show up in the other Bibles and likewise the other way around. It DOES appear to work if I right click an entire passage and highlight it that way.

Using Logos 10.

Hi Alexander - and welcome to the forums

I use the NRSVue as my default Bible but have others open as well such as the NRSV, ESV, the KJV, and the NIV. I find that when I highlight a word or passage in the NRSVue, it does not show up in the other Bibles and likewise the other way around.

This uses a feature known as Corresponding Highlighting - and for it to work two things need to be in place (in each Bible where you are wanting to use it)

    1. You need to have the Reverse Interlinears for the version - if you see the icon outlined in green you know you have them
    2. You need to have the Notes and Highlights (Corresponding) visual filter enabled (red outline below).

It DOES appear to work if I right click an entire passage and highlight it that way.

For this to work - where you are highlighting the entire reference - you need the Notes and Highlights visual filter enabled (blue outline above) and this doesn't depend on having the reverse interlinears.

(There is a further level of detail if this doesn't resolve the issue but hopefully that is enough to work out what is going on).

Please let us know whether this clarifies things.
