Try to show/open Canvas via Command Box

New Canvas or Create Canvas. The point being that Canvas is not seen as a tool, but as a document creation engine.

Thank you. Surprisingly I have never used Create in the command box - for documents I use the document menu. It didn't occur to me that Canvas wasn't a tool.

You can access it as a Tool, which is the same as the Create Canvas command. Similar problem with Sentence Diagrammer (Create Sentence Diagram) and Sermon Builder (Create Sermon). Sermon Manager is a true Tool.
