I simply want to print a section in one of my resources. How in the world does one do this?
Thanks!
Printing is currently in testing in the latest Beta release should be coming real soon..
you could always grab a screen shot using snipping tool, and print that, if you need it urgently

To get access to printing now, just type in the command "Set update channel to beta" . The beta version is running mostly stable (a few minor bugs to work out) and offers excellent print options.
Using the Set update channel command can have unintended consequences, i.e. you will automatically start the next Beta cycle if you don't change the channel setting back to default. This could be problematic for someone who doesn't want to stay a beta tester.
Xavier, if you want printing right now, read http://community.logos.com/forums/t/8883.aspx and if you want to install the beta do so with the link to the installer in the link I just provided.
Why not copy the selection into a Word document and print that?

[quote]A Logos 4 beta release cannot be installed side-by-side with another version of Logos 4; it will replace your existing installation. (However, since Logos 4 uses a per-user installation, you can create a new Windows user account on your computer and install the Logos 4 Beta under that account for testing.)
Note the above paragraph (quoted from the above link) which allows the Beta to run on the same machine as the standard installation. This is a separate (BETA) installation - but it does allow printing. I have done this - it works. I do not turn to it often - since it is installed separately from where I do most of my sermon preparation. I just copy and past within my standard installation and waiting (patiently, mind you) for the current beta cycle to end and for printing to move into the production system.
That's certainly an option. However, a good Bible software program like L4 should have it's own print facilities.
No argument, Doug. Somehow, LOGOS did research and thought we were closer to the paperless society that the computer has offered for a number of years than we really are. It is taking nearly a year for them to get it implemented, but it is coming. It works in the beta, but it will be a few more weeks (hopefully, fewer) before it becomes available in the stable release. It does sound like it is coming - we will need to be patient.
Printing is working very nicely in the current beta, and it's a well-designed feature. I think you'll be pleased with it, and will be happy they didn't throw some shoddy minimal print functionality into L4 before it went out the door just in order to be able to check that feature off on the box. Yes, the wait has been aggravating, but there have been some suitable subtitutes available in the meantime (e.g., copying and pasting into Word) which gave them the time to design it properly. Holding off on shipping L4 until it was finished would also not have been a good option. Think of all the use we've had out of L4 since November (or whenever we bought it) because of how they chose to develop it in stages.
They are already at Beta 8 and have been releasing a new beta once a week on this beta cycle, so I'm expecting 4.1 will be completed and shipping before the end of September, probably even earlier in the month. Also, I'm sure they are concurrently at work on the next release after this so we can be jumping right into the next beta cycle shortly thereafter and testing some of the other new features we've been waiting for, such as Personal Book Builder! (I hope!)

I don't think there would be too many users that would disagree with your statement Doug. Logos somehow missed, but as you have already pointed out Print Function is now well under way in beta testing:

Logos don't often misread the situation, though sometimes it takes us users to be convinced of it, however when the do get it wrong they do respond lke they have with printing. At the same time they want to get it right so are not rushing it out the door but are acutely aware as users we'd all like to have the print function yesterday, well actually last November.
