does anyone know how to share a custom layout?

I know this has been asked before, but it seems the layouts are stored in the layouts.db file in the Logos AppData folder. Is there a way to hack this file to add or extract a named layout? I'm assuming the person being shared with has the same version of logos and same resources.

quick answer is NO - don't try to do it.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Hacking is not recommended (and the files could prove to be incompatible).[H]

Sending a screenshot in .jpg or .png format is much safer.

Wouldn't it be easier and less troublesome to simply take a screen shot of the layout and let the other person recreate it. If it was really complicated, and if you cared that much, you could talk through the recreation process using 'FaceTime' or similar.
