Denise et al. what are your thoughts on my prioritization scheme?

I bought THAT today. So far, I'm impressed with its coverage. Also, I picked up An Interpretive Lexicon of New Testament Greek. This too, I find useful. How do you find my priorities? Do you recommend any changes?

You can ignore Muraoka; it's there as a place holder to remind me that I have it. And the Greek section is cut off there's more if you're interested.

Always good when trying to improve Logos' usefulness!

My comments are mainly to 'what will happen'.  Each person will have different preferences.

    Hebrew:

    - Your Gesenius is going to 'drown out' your hebrew.  HALOT is basically a later version of Gesenius.  If you like Gesenius (I do), of course that's fine. But it'll pretty much pick up everything, for the purpose of single-clicks (vs the top-5 in a right-click)

    - Your 3 theologicals will play tag with each other, depending.  So, it really has much to do with your preferences.  I try to put TLOT higher, since it tends to be more in-depth and reduced coverage; the other 'T's pick up the difference.

    - I'm not sure the value of putting your DBL's so low ... they'll never come up for air.  Good as a reminder, though.

    Greek:

    - This is really personal preference.  Having more than 5 only works, if you prioritize limited lexicons higher than broad-coverage lexicons. Your MM would fit that description. Thayer (which I like) and LSJ will pick off most lemmas long before your BDAG, etc.

    - In your current list, basically it'll do a top-5 (right-click), whichever you want to see.  It's not going to get beyond your top-5 (since a couple in the top-5), pick off the lemmas, before your over-5 lexicons.

    - I don't see a greek analytical; I'm guessing it didn't show in the screen-capture.

Am I confusing you?  If so my fault.

I'd like your impression on THAT.  I hate to admit a severe temptation.

Thank for your incisive opinions. Now tit' for THAT (sorry couldn't resist) I kept seeing cites while working in the OT. So, I did a search and there were 9,000+ hits. I got a great deal from my rep along with Kirsopp Lakes' Acts oeuvre and as I said, the little lexicon, no deal for it, but it's cheap any way so no bother. With the MinistryThanks promo I spent just over $120.

THAT is good, I'm a sucker for a good lexicon. I have a surprise, my modified Greek priorities.

    Missed your followup; sorry.

Well, you put the worm on the hook, and the fish (me) was hungry.  Although, just curious, why 2 analyticals (not criticizing).

I was experimenting to see which served best. Do you have an opinion here?

Edit: Oh, I see what you are asking about. That's a mistake. I didn't remove the one I had not made the name change for in response to your post.
