Export Library to Excel
When I choose Print/Export I get a panel that says "This panel supports exports only." When I click on "Send new document to Excell' Excel opens but the file from the library does not download.

What platform are you running Logos on - and what version of Logos / Excel do you have?
It works fine for me on Mac OS.

The Print/Export functionality definitely needs a bit more love from Logos developers, sometimes those send to... things work and sometimes not. In the case of the library, save as spreadsheet will work and download a file called library.xml which you can open in Excel.
Have joy in the Lord!

Hi Patrick:
The 'Send to' / 'Paste into' options do work, but they probably take longer than you think they should. I have 12,300 items in my library on an iMac M1 16GB and it takes 6 minutes to finish. (You'll see them appear in Excel in batches.) I typically use the 'Save as file' option.

Thanks. I will try that.

No, but thanks for asking. I am not sure if the problem is LOGOS or something else. Thanks for the follow-up.
Here is Robert's situation:

He has a fairly fast machine. What are your specs?
You may need to post logs. See my signature line. You will enable logging, reproduce the issue, then grab logs.

This thread contains more information.
According to two posts from Logos employee Andrew Batishko, Print/Export is not supported for "All" type searches, nor for "Fuzzy" Bible searches.
I've asked him whether there are plans to support it in the future. Keep an eye on that thread for his answer, as he hasn't replied yet.

Thanks so much for your help.
I just realized you were asking about printing/exporting your Library, not Search results, so perhaps that other thread was irrelevant. Sorry for not reading more carefully.
When I choose Send to new document: Microsoft Excel, it does create a new Excel document (called Book1.xlsx), but doesn't bring it to the foreground. I have to Alt+Tab to it, or hover my mouse over the Excel icon on my toolbar and click on the Book1 icon to bring that to the foreground. It contains the contents I'd expect to have been exported from my library.

Thanks! Let me work on that.
