Inline Search - Display Bible Text in Same Panel Instead of Opening New Panel -- Has something Chang
The following threads:

https://community.logos.com/forums/p/200274/1162793.aspx#1162793
both address the process on displaying an inline search result in the same panel.
That process doesn't seem to work anymore.
The up/down arrows no longer completely scroll thru the search results, can't scroll down to the last items within the search results. Not that big of a deal, cause you can place your cursor into those remaining verses and the verse will populate the reference box.
But, now when you close out the inline search by clicking the "x," the desired verse is not displayed in the panel, even though the verse in displayed in the reference box. The panel remains where it was before the search was initiated.
I've tried placing the cursor in the reference box displaying the desired verse, but no action takes place.
Plus, Search Result is no longer available in the drop down menu on the locator bar.
Please advise, how I can display the inline search result in the same panel.
Thanks

I've just checked and all the things you mention work fine for me - using the ESV on my MacBook.
Please provide more details - what Bible are you using, what search term are you using, what version of Logos do you have, what platform are you running Logos on.
And screenshots showing what you are describe would be helpful

Running L10.28.3.44, All Logos 10 Features, on Windows 10
Default Bible is NASB95, but tried at least a half dozen others, no change. I did try also in the ESV this am, no change.
Last night: restarted Logos, no change; rebooted PC, no change. Also closed the Bible panel and reopened it, no change.
Screen shots are from 10/19.
Screen shot from this morning. Notice Search & Results. Romans verse selected.
Notice Inline Search closed with "x," selected verse in reference box, but verse in panel is not Romans 4:5
I hit enter as a test, no change. Entered the reference box wand picked the verse from the drop down and no change.
Need anything else?

To get the Search Result option you need the Locator Bar open (you can do this from the panel menu or using Ctrl-Shift-L) and use the dropdown there
Notice Inline Search closed with "x," selected verse in reference box, but verse in panel is not Romans 4:5
That I can reproduce.
If you use the arrow keys (with Search Result selected) to navigate to the verse and then close the Inline Search pane (not clicking "x" but clicking the inline search icon) then you should be at the correct reference.
I don't know why the approach you are showing doesn't work

Entered the same info as your response, even though that really wouldn't make a difference. I used to get exactly what you showed. But now all I get is this. Don't know when it changed, been struggling with it for a bit.

I'm sorry but I don't understand this.
But now all I get is this.
Your screenshot didn't show - please try again
Any ideas of who can be contacted to help?
You could contact Logos customer support - contact details at https://www.logos.com/contact-support
Reload L10?
That is unlikely to help - hopefully a screenshot will clarify what you are seeing

At least I'm up and running again.
I'm glad to hear that.
