Added links. I wasn't sure whether these were books already in Logos, or ones not in Logos but that you were looking for similar ones that were in Logos already. I had to answer my own question. They are in Logos. Sorry I can't help you with your question, though. I'm not familiar with any of these books, nor the topics well enough to be able to direct you to other similar books. But thanks for pointing out Biblical Fracking. I was at one point toying with the idea of doing a sermon on midrash, and I might revive that idea after taking a look at this.

I'd run into Biblical Fracking totally by accident a couple of weeks ago ... which led me to the other books although not easily. I hoped some other may have also run into more by accident but somehow fun application of traditional methods in unusual manners just isn't in the list of subjects.

While it's not called "fracking", IICR, in The Poetics of Biblical Narrative, Meir Sternberg talks about "gaps" in biblical narrative and express ways to take advantage of this concept. It seems like it might be a similar concept, but maybe not as speculative as the former term.
