How to Create Reading Plan with Non-preferred Bible

New to Logos. I have academic pricing for Logos on my iPad and Mac desktop. I've purchased NIV and NABRE bibles. My preferred bible is NABRE. I've been able to create a custom reading plan by following instructions in another forum post where I copied in the references from an Excel sheet I created into a Passage List. I set that passage list to NIV and it confirmed the appropriate passages. Then I create a Reading Plan based on that passage list but the reading plan defaults back to my preferred bible NABRE.

I can't find a place in the Reading Plan settings to redirect the passages back to NIV bible.

What am I missing. (I hope this seeming simple thing isn't something I'd need to purchase with an upgrade.)

Thanks!

~ John

    Hi John

I can't find a place in the Reading Plan settings to redirect the passages back to NIV bible.

You can't. It means you must make the NIV your preferred bible (temporarily).

You could make a suggestion at Faithlife Feedback - Desktop (join it with your FL/Logos credentials), because the version info is part of a Passage List.

Meantime you could Print/Export your Passage List,  choose Print as a Minimized list,  select Copy to Clipboard then paste to a text editor e.g.

    Untitled Passage List

    Ro 1–2; Ge 1–2; Jos 1–2; Ps 1–2; Job 1–2; Is 1–2; Mt 1–2 ...

Exported from Logos Bible Software, 9:30 AM 30 October 2023.

    .

Now create a standard Reading Plan for the NIV and paste the passages from your text editor into the Read box.

You have to adjust the sessions according to the number of passages (7 in this case)

I'm not sure about pasting hundreds of passages, but it managed 347
