You will notice that for the contemporary people, the prompts walk you through the basics of applying their theories; for earlier people, the prompts walk you through reading the commentaries as they were intended to be read. I started with people I knew well enough to know if the prompts were appropriate, moved to Jewish and Evangelical sources, then started the historical aspect. J. A. Alexander is an example of the prompts informing me of his presuppositions - which I did not know. For myself, that is a major benefit of these.
EDIT: updated the list for new entries and standardized the prior list. Items added are marginal - major Jewish interpreters, a Mormon (Nibley), an interfaith specialist (Borg), a perennial philosophy person (Schuon), and completed the letter A in the dictionary.
