Can't find help on Citation Styles.

I need information on the different Citation Styles. I need to be shown the different styles. I haven't used any particular styles. I only had use references in parens. Citation Styles are probably more often used in a collegate setting.

which one you use is based on what field you are in. SBL and Turabian (which is a variant of the Chicago Manual) are the most used for Biblical/Religious studies.
