Link panels without copying highlights

Is there any way to link panels together without copying the highlights? I would love to have my Bible open along with a few study Bibles linked together. Problem is if I highlight a verse or two in my Bible then it highlights a lot of text in my study Bibles. Is there any way to prevent this behavior? Thank you.

    This happens if your highlight is exactly on verse boundaries - the highlights are seen as being created "by reference" and are visible in all versified resources. 

    If you constrain your highlights to part verses you shouldn't see the highlights in your study Bibles.
