Type some text in a note in lower case, select it, click Small Caps. Nothing changes in the text, though the small caps icon gets highlighted:
Some fonts do not support Small Caps, Superscript, or Subscript.
But I use the default notes font: Global User Interface. Surely the default font Logos uses should support a basic feature? If not, Logos should select a different font to use for its default.
Furthermore, I just tried changing my default notes font to Arial, which I know for a fact supports small caps, and this is still broken. I can create BC in small caps in Word in Arial font, copy and paste into Logos, and it comes across as not small caps, though the small caps icon is highlighted. (Incidentally, if I change the font in Logos to Calibri, the small caps work. But why don't they work in Global User Interface and Arial? That seems like it's still a bug to me.)
I was just looking into this - "Global User Interface" is a WPF thing, not Logos. I don't think we noticed it before now, and it doesn't appear to do what we want it to.
It looks like we need to add "Default Sans Serif" to the Default Notes Font in Program Settings. If you set Default Notes Font to "Default" and set the font family in the notes file to Default, then you will at least be able to see the small caps.

Arial does not support the small caps features defined by OpenType, which is required by WPF/Logos 4 to display text in small caps. (Word is probably simulating it.)

OK, that's fine for me for now, but you need to make sure this works "out of the box" for new users so they don't have to go tweaking the font in order to see their small caps.
