Are you trying to delete highlights you just made? If not, are the highlights in versified resources? Have you checked the visual filter menu?
Highlights killing me!

Howdy everyone, I am having a terrible time with highlights. I am using the Mac desktop app and I can highlight things no problem but I am unable to remove the highlights. I have tried selecting the text and hitting the no symbol, I have also tried opening the highlight panel and clicking erase...neither of those things works and its driving me nuts. Has anyone else seen this?

Are you able to select them and press Cmd+Shift+K to delete them?

OK so i was just messing around some more..it seems they were highlighted because somehow notes were created tied to that word and once I deleted the note the highlight went away. How did I do that?

In the Notes tool, if you deleted the note for that reference it will remove the highlight. That is the way that both Highlights and Notes/annotations work.
Are you having this trouble in a single resource or in Muti-Books view?
