PSA: Logos v30 will not run on some outdated versions of Windows 10
Officially, Logos only runs on supported versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11. That is, if Microsoft no longer supports a version of Windows 10 or 11, neither do we.
In practice, it's often possible to install Logos even when Windows is out-of-date. But changes in v30 mean that Logos will no longer install for some very out-of-date versions of Windows 10, namely version 1809 and earlier (version 1809 was released in 2018, so it's very old).
If you need to update Windows, you can do so here.
So, in summary:
- Windows 10 Version 22H2 is fully supported.
- Windows 10 Versions 1903 to 21H2 aren't officially supported but will probably work with v30.
- Windows 10 Versions 1809 and earlier won't work with v30.

What windows features or API usage mandates restrict the program from running on Windows 10 Versions 1809 and earlier?

ICU support: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/intl/international-components-for-unicode--icu-
We've since relaxed the requirement so the the application should run on Windows 10 1703 and later. However, this is still "unofficial" and we only support supported versions of Windows 10.
