Why does uninstalling Logos on Windows leave files behind in the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Logos folder?

If the program is reinstalled are these reused in some fashion or does this speed up the installation?

If these files are deleted after uninstalling, are there any things that cannot be restored from the cloud?

Are there any other locations of files that are left behind after uninstalling Logos or Verbum, other than the log files?

All good questions:

Why does uninstalling Logos on Windows leave files behind in the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Logos folder?

It leaves the Documents folder and deletes the much larger Data folder with your resources and indexes.

I'll leave the why to FL.

The Documents have to be re-sync'd to check if they are current, and I have not not seen any benefit from retaining them. But I'm not a heavy user of Notes...

When a user wants to revert to the current release from a beta version these files should be deleted before reinstalling (to avoid a potential crash with incompatible files). But FL should manage this situation during installation if they leave files behind!

The important User files and Resources are all restored. Your Concordances are not restored along with web files and caches e.g. downloaded videos.

I think that Logos System files are removed, but have not checked in a while (in the Logos/Verbum folder).
