Offline Typos

I am usually not online when using Logos. My experience with trying to report typos when offline is that it (a) doesn't work, or (b) doesn't confirm that it works. I know that sometimes the problem is (a), because it blatantly refuses to let me complete the process. When I am using Logos regularly (8-12 hours+/day), I can encounter anywhere from half a dozen to a couple dozen typos...and at present none of those are being reported. Please rectify this situation, in both L3 & L4. I have encountered dozens of errors in common resources like Strong's Lex & TWOT that haven't been reported. That's a shame. Please address this ASAP.

Reporting Typos offline in L3 should work, at least it did last time I used it. From memory I think it tells you the next time you go on-line that it is submitting the typos is has waiting in the queue.

I am not really sure about L4 on offline typos as I believe I've always been online when submitting. Hopefully someone else can chime in with an answer on that.

My experience is that the "Report typo" command is not even available when I'm running L4 offline. At least it isn't now. Maybe it used to be and I got no confirmation when trying to report a typo offline the next time I was online; it did not seem to save them up and report them once I was logged on. This would be a good improvement.

In the absence of that, rather than losing track of typos I encounter, I've been saving a bookmark to them (it's much easier to mark the exact spot now that you can Copy as URL and get the exact offset in the resource where that line occures; in 4.1 beta) and then reporting them next time I'm online. However it would be nice not to have to think of that later; just to report them when I encounter them. But like Andrew, I'm online most of the time when I'm using Logos (except while in an airplane as I was for several hours happily using Logos yesterday -- there was an outlet in the seat in front of me so I didn' thave to worry about my laptop battery running down! wow -- first time I've had that pleasure! I was so wishing for a WiFi hotspot, though...everything's amazing and nobody's happy.)
