Canvas in Logos 10
Hi everyone,
Apologies if this is an old question but is there anyway to anchor a canvas so it appears, for example, in the Passage Study Layout menus or attached to the Bible passage itself? I am just thinking that it would be useful for a link to appear automatically when I look up a passage rather than having to search 'Canvas' itself seperately.
Many thanks

Welcome to the forums Benjamin.
There are a few ways you can make certain tools more accessible. The best is to drop it on to the shortcut menu so it ia just a click away. Here is a training video on how to do it.

Once on the toolbar you can just click to open a blank one. If you want to open to one that you are using then you need to save your layout. If you need assistance on that, let me know.

Hi John,
Many thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately it doesn't quite answer my question (sorry I wasn't very clear). What I want to do is anchor a canvas I have already made to the Bible text. So for example: I have just created a canvas for Ezra 6:13-22. Is there anyway to anchor this canvas to the Bible passage so it either appears like a note would on the Bible text itself when I search for it, or come up as part of the Passage Study Layout menus, like a sermon I had created in Sermon builder would?
Many thanks

Hi Ben

Not directly but it is possible to do something.
You could create a note in the Bible text (so that would provide an icon there) and have a link in the note to the Canvas. So you could then open the Canvas directly from the note.
It's a two-step process but is, I think, the best option.
And if you don't know how to do any of the above please advise

Hi Graham,
Brilliant - Thank you!
I hadn't realised I could link to another document like that. Really helpful.
Thanks again
Ben
