What happens when you click Proceed? Could you post a screenshot (blur out any private details first)?
Were you definitely logged in to your Logos account on the website? Could anything have happened to disconnect you from the web while you were trying to proceed?

Joel, sometimes I find my page stop responding whenever I want to change the payment plan feature. When this occurs I just click on the step before the step I am on and usually it responds the second time.

I have the same problem as well. I cannot get past the proceed. Though if I buy pre-pub or use the quick buy option, it works.
I would like to know what is the problem too.

I also have the same problem. I can't get beyond to shipping when I click "Proceed" when I want to checkout. But when a Logos sales rep wrote to me through email, he was able to process my order. Is Logos trying to encourage us to purchase through the sales rep? Can anyone help or enlighten us?

When you click proceed there is supposed to be a pop-up that allows you to select all-at-once payment or a payment plan. For some reason certain people are not able to get this popup and thus get stropped in their tracks when trying to make a purchase. Logos has said they are trying to figure out what the problem is.
You can try using a different browser or the sales rep would be happy to process the order for you. Personally, I call sales whenever I can because they can often offer a better price than the web site.

Just as you've suggested, I've tried IE8. Similar result. I hope Logos will look into matter otherwise they may lose alot of business opportunity.

Could it be a problem with a pop-up blocker of some sort? Most browsers have one integrated which is configurable (or temporarily disablable) or the user might have installed a third party one. It is something we users ought to be able to work around.
I do agree, though, that to rely on using popups for a checkout process is a bit risky, since popups can sometimes be blocked at the user's request, and some users are not savvy enough to be able to work around it. Logos should just have an intermediate screen that has the choices on it and another Proceed button that goes to the next screen.

I was thinking that as I wrote my above post.
Surely the time spent fixing whatever the current problem is more expensive in time and lost sales than it what it would be to convert the payment to an intermediate screen.

These aren't real "popups", though. It's possible popup blockers have gotten a lot more sophisticated. But these are what I call "DOM popups" - using Web 2.0 / AJAX techniques. The browser doesn't really know this kind of "popup" as being any different from any other HTML it displays. It's not a new browser window, which is what popups historically consist of and which popup blockers block.
I certainly have popup blockers enabled on my browsers, and this DOM popup appears no problem. I'm sure that's why Logos is stumped as to why it's happening in these rare cases.
