What fonts work with personal books?
Hi,
I am using Times New Roman with my personal books, but I received the message to the effect that this font does not work when compiling a personal book. Which fonts do install with personal books, specifically, those which have the same style as Times New Roman?
Thank you!

JT, thank you for responding.
This is the message I receive at the end of the log file:
[Error] Font 'Open Sans' is not a valid font for use in resources.
[Error] Font 'Calibri' is not a valid font for use in resources.
[Error] Font 'Times New Roman Bold' is not a valid font for use in resources.

Hi, JT
The problem occurs when text (in the”mind” of Logos) falls after a bible:off and before a bible.on.
Otherwise, you are correct that the compiled book is still totally usable.
Because Logos will not compile the Time New Roman font, it substitutes a different, unidentified font which indeed I do not like.

Mark,
it used to be and I think still is, that Logos treats Times New Roman as "default" and thus will not show the compiled book in Times New Roman but in the standard resource font that is configured in your system settings. Could this be the case here?

It may very well be the case here, although I certainly could not say. No offense intended, but I confess that it does not make sense that Logos programmers would program a so-called default font which would nevertheless not be the font to which Logos defaults when it compiles a book. Otherwise, I do not see an entry for a "standard resource font" in Logos' system settings.
I apologize that I am not able to shrink this screen shot of the settings in Logos.0 -

I agree - actually your screenshot looks more like you had this portion of the book formatted in Calibri, which is a sans-serif font, but since you used Times New Roman 12... I can confirm your error when I build the PB (Job 13-17) you shared in the other thread. I think it may have to do with the formatting styles you use - but it definitely looks like a bug. I'll have to probe around a bit to see if I can find a workaround.
